Morningside Umbrella Festival events, and how to donate
The Morningside Umbrella Festival is a fundraising campaign for the Church roof.

Ceilidh Night at Boroughmuir Rugby Club. Friday, February 27th, 7.30pm – 11.30pm
Craft, Coffee & Cake, Friday, March 6th 7.00-9.00 pm, Cluny Hall. Please come along if you would like to get involved in making some umbrella themed items for the festival. There will be knitting, sewing and
some interesting paper modelling! We will be serving coffee, tea and home-made cakes and providing lots of opportunities for chat! Everyone
is welcome. Tickets are £5 and available from Rona McLaren, Catriona Reid, Morag Shankland, Fiona Stimpson
Charity Race Night – Friday 6th March from 7pm at the Morningside Club. Join us for some fun and fundraising. Just £5 and includes a free race. All welcome so bring a friend. Tickets available from Kerry Watt
Volunteers Needed for Charity Bag Packing Event at Waitrose:
Can you spare an hour on Saturday 21st March between 1:30pm and 6:30pm. Children are welcome. Many hands make light work and help us raise lots of money. Get in touch with Kerry Watt with your availability.
A Coffee Morning with a Difference – Saturday March 21st at the Morningside Club, 3 Morningside Park. What’s the difference? It’s from
1pm until 5pm and we are serving Fizz and Gin. Just turn up on the day and bring a friend.

New Unwanted Tombola Event at Tesco Colinton on Saturday 18th April. Please help make this a success by donating your New Unwanted Items. Items should be placed in the plastic box by the pigeon holes. Volunteers will also be needed so please speak to Kerry if you can spare an hour on this date.
