55th Edinburgh Boys’ Brigade                                                                  

The 55^th was founded in 1914 and is part of Edinburgh, Leith & District Battalion.  It is split into sections according to age; Anchor Boys – P2-P3; Junior Section – P4-P6; Company Section – P7-S3;  Seniors – S4-S6.  The Anchor Boys focus on fun and crafts, Junior Section on badge work, advanced crafts and team games, Company Section on advanced badge work, drill, band, camping and sporting activities with the ultimate aim of advancing Christ’s Kingdom.  The Junior and Company Sections are active in Battalion and National competitions, which give boys opportunities to meet new friends from other companies.  All meet in the Church Hall.
